East Texas Home Repair, LLC is a Texas based Home Improvement Network of professional tradesmen and contractors. We are not an internet service directory company that sells your personal information as leads to contractors. We are the contractors that perform the work for you! With us there is no middleman.
We provide handyman services, interior and exterior specialized contractors and tradesmen, as well as variety of lawn and garden services. Our goal at East Texas Home Repair is to be your one stop shop for home improvement and maintenance needs.
We understand that when a homeowner decides to hire someone to come into their home, the persons they want must met some basic criteria, beyond being polite, professional & trustworthy.

We know sometimes unforeseen events happen. For example, if we are going to be late, we will call BEFORE the time we are supposed to show up. Our policy is to inform the homeowner as soon as we realize any expectation may not be met. We will always give the most precise time possible. No one wants to give up their plans for the entire day to sit around and wait for a contractor to show up.
Our network of pre-screened, pre–qualified home repair professionals have all promised to uphold the same enumerated standards listed above. Also, you will know who is showing up (First Name and Last Name) of the person and the company name and when. Most general contractors, may tell you, “I will have a plumber out there, next week.” Our answer is, “John Smith from Smith and Son’s plumbing will be there Monday morning 8:45 am.”
If you need multiple bids, we will get them for you. We will help you make sense of the various bids. We can tell you what a good, fair or poor bid is and why. We are up to date with current pricing and markets, that is a full-time job in itself. We bring experience and objectivity to the decision-making process. You don’t have to go it alone or take a shot in the dark when hiring
someone to make your house a home.

Most people need help at some point whether buying, selling or living in a home. Something breaks, or something is outdated, something needs to be redone or added onto. We are your one stop shop for all your home improvement and maintenance needs.

Q: Where are you located?
A: We are a locally owned business based in the Longview area.
Q: What is your service area?
A: We serve Gregg, Smith, Upshur, Marion, Harrison, and parts of Cherokee, Rusk and Panola Counties.
Q: What sized jobs are too small?
A: None, however we have a minimum charge of $80 for 2 hours of time. We would recommend you have a list of few things you need done, so we can maximize the value of your dollar.
Q: Do you charge be the job or by the day?
A: Hourly and daily rates are the most common way we bill for handyman services. Most of the time handyman services are paid when the job(s) are completed. When a home improvement or construction projects cannot be completed in a day or
two, we will give an estimation on time and materials, or a firm bid and invoice by the job. Larger projects may include repairing or building entire structures such as fences, docks, boat houses, porches, decks, patios and pergolas. In these cases, the payment
terms are based on the completion of the job, build, or project. For example, terms may be 50% down and 50% upon completion and even larger projects may be in stages 30%-30%-30%-10%.
Q: What to do about disposing your old appliance(s)?
A: If the appliance is less than 5 years old you may consider re-sealing it yourself or donating it to a charity. If it is not working at all then the best thing to do is to recycle. Try never to put them in a dump or landfill. Whatever you decide, we can help you.
